Questions About AJR

Questions About AJR

Simple answers about features, privacy, and community experience.

Simple answers about features, privacy, and community experience.

What is AJR and how is it different from other Muslim apps?

AJR takes its name from ajr, the Arabic word for reward in Islam. It is a deen accountability app designed to help Muslims build consistency in daily worship through visual progress and small, intentional community groups. Inspired by Apple Fitness rings, AJR turns salah, Qur’an, dhikr, and journaling into visible daily momentum. Unlike traditional Islamic apps focused only on reminders or tools, AJR helps you stay consistent through structure and shared accountability without becoming social media.

How do AJR Rings work?

During onboarding, you choose goals for salah, Qur’an, dhikr, or journaling. Qur’an, dhikr, and journaling completed inside the app close your rings automatically, while salah is marked complete manually once you have prayed. The focus is not perfection, but steady daily consistency.

What are Circles?

Circles are small accountability groups of up to 10 people, and you can join up to three groups at a time to grow alongside family or friends. Groups can choose between anonymous or named accountability. In anonymous Circles, individual identities remain hidden and only the group’s overall progress is shown, allowing members to keep intentions private. In named Circles, you can see who has completed their rings each day. There is no messaging or social feed, keeping the experience focused and distraction free.

Is my activity private?

Yes. Your worship activity is private by default. Only members of your selected Circles can see ring completion based on the group’s privacy setting. Your Sadaqah Tree and donation history are completely private and visible only to you.

Who is AJR for?

AJR is for Muslims who want to strengthen their deen through consistent daily actions. Whether you are improving your salah, reading more Qur’an, or growing with a small community, AJR helps you move forward one day at a time.
